Everybody's blogging in the Web 2.0 space - we thought it would be great if parents could share their baby stuff online.  The idea came about when Nick and his partner Julie lived in Lanzarote expecting their first child.  How could we keep parents and family in the UK up to date with scan photographs, wish lists, progress reports and so on?

That's where the idea came from to give our child her first blog - a simple, easy way of exchanging information with anyone who wanted to see it.  Extending the platform so that anyone could do it quickly and easily seemed a logical extension and Our Baby Blog was born.
